Would you like some live music for a special event or occasion?

Hobart City Band Inc. can provide an ensemble, at very reasonable rates, to suit a wide range of indoor and outdoor functions: 

• private parties, e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, weddings
• community events, carnivals, parades and ceremonies
• open days
• promotion events and grand openings
• fetes and festivals
• conference dinners and corporate functions
• charity functions
• concerts
• choral events
• religious services

Available for hire:

• Swing Band (approx. 16 players) – ideal for large private parties, dances, dinner-dances, fetes and festivals ...
• Brass Band (28 – 33 players) – ideal for outdoor community events such as carnivals, parades, ceremonies, fetes, grand openings, events requiring a fanfare … If required, the Brass Band will perform as a marching band.
• Wind Symphony (50 – 60 players) – well-suited to concerts, carol services, choral and special events ...
• Small ensembles (e.g. a wind quartet or quintet) - put together to meet your specific requirements.
