Joining Hobart City Band Inc.

Who can join?

Playing membership is open to anyone with basic playing proficiency in relevant instruments.

Before joining, prospective members are invited to attend a couple of rehearsals as a "taster" to see if they like it and to enable them to find the band most appropriate to their playing proficiency.

There is a maximum age limit of 19 years for the competing Youth Winds (Junior Concert Band) and Junior Brass Band.

Hobart City Band Inc. welcomes non-playing members.

What does it cost?

Annual Subscription:

Wind Symphony, Brass and/or Swing Band: $60

Youth Winds (Junior Concert) and/or Junior Brass Band: $30

Youth Winds (Junior Concert) and/or Junior Brass Band plus senior bands: $60

Associate Membership (non-playing members): $30
