About the Hobart City Junior Brass Band

The Hobart City Junior Brass Band was formed in 2007.

The Band competed in the Tasmanian Championships in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, taking out the title of Tasmanian Junior B-Grade Brass Champion in each year. The Band was also the 2010 National Junior B-Grade Brass Champion. See Competition Results.

Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at Ogilvie High School.

The Band is conducted by Simon Cawthorn. Simon is currently on leave. The Acting Conductor is Robyn Males (see News,19/6/2011)
